Mention IKEA and images of simplistic Scandinavian designed furniture comes to mind. AEX System, we were privileged to be chosen to supply our Network Audio System to the 2nd flagship IKEA store in Malaysia. The 2 biggest challenges IKEA posted to us was utmost human life safety and ROI on the system. When it comes to human life safety, IKEA spares nothing and has extremely high standards on how the Evacuation system should work, down to the details of how loud and how clear announcements have to be! On top of that our system also supplies background music storewide to create a pleasant shopping environment and drive foot traffic. The music is interspersed with promotional announcements to keep shoppers informed on specific bargains happening around them along with the occasional suggestions to take a break and enjoy their coffee at the IKEA cafe – which on a side note we did and can ascertain it was very good! We relished this opportunity and we look forward to doing more with IKEA in their upcoming stores globally.

AEX SYSTEM was chosen as the network audio solution to distribute high-quality music throughout the space.

The Shoppes at Four Seasons Place is the retail showcase of the Four Seasons hotel and Four Seasons Private Residences development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Operated by the Four Seasons, the mall is as its brand implies; luxury, comfort and refined elegance carefully crafted together. AEX System was installed to form part of the life safety solution in the mall as well as the BGM solution for piped in music. At AEX System, we truly believe that carefully curated music plays a role to accentuate the essence of luxury that is the Four Seasons signature and we are proud to be part of their solution.
